Doctor Death is an interesting nickname, but a suitable one- this particular practitioner has the ability to supernaturally sense the pleasure and pain of those around him. Cancers, diseases, and more… he doesn't seem particularly happy about it, perhaps because it's mixed him up in a seedy underworld of gruesome murder, voodoo zombies, vampire organizations, and slightly skeezy acquaintances. There's a bit of a John Constantine flavor there. This comic is marvellously illustrated with heavily detailed inkwork, reminiscent of noir-inspired indie comics. (In fact I'd say that's just what it is!)
