the heat is on Salsa this week! Also now known as The Warnock… This guy has worked, with a few others admittedly, to keep the marvellously great community game
MAFIA alive. Salsa has been a powerhouse stalwart, working away quietly to manage and manicure this great community activity. He’s currently starting up another game, as The Warnock, and he’d love you to participate!
Sign up for a MAFIA game!

(sorry we're doubling up on newsposts btw, the quackcast came out a bit late!)

The Warnock (aka Salsa) is announcing the next round of Mafia!

Calling all Ducks! Calling all Ducks!

The Mafia has broken loose and is now in it's 49th installment. Sign up and help solve clues and lynch the bad guys! Or kill the town if you are the bad guys! If you haven't played before, don't worry! We'll show you the ropes, how to make concert shoes, and how to sleep with the fishes.

So what are you waiting for? Sign on up and do your part to turn Townston a lovely shade of mayhem and chaos!

ghostrunner's Grin ‘n’ Spirit reaches 1100 pages this week! That's a lot! ghostrunner adds, “it was bound to happen, ive finally struck PLOT :D”

And Character Development by the recently-spotlighted Gunwallace has reached 500 pages! That's still really a lot!

Our Featured comic today is The Greening Wars. It's an interesting story of the aftermath of a horrible world war in the near future. Civilisation as we know it took a bit of a battering. Biological warfare has wiped out a big chunk of the world. There are now two many camps: the UCM and the Greening cult. The UCM are the united forces of mainly ordinary surviving humans who wish to preserve and restore the old ways and return things to how they were. The Greening cult embrace change, some might say they embrace it too far… retro-viral gene-modification, costing them their very humanity.
Sargent Asteria leads a small raggle taggle team, working for the UCM, in the fight against the Greening.
There is a bit of action, a bit of adventure, a bit of furry, a bit of scifi, and some pretty funny humour too. The art is sometimes pretty rough, but also highly interesting and engaging, expressive and artsy.

Congrats on 1100 pages Ghostrunner. I have to admit, I didn't think of myself as a stalwart, sure I post a lot when I'm active, but never a pillar of the community. Thank you for the love. Now sign up!

And congrats to the Greening Wars. And congrats to ghostrunner and gunwallace! Wow! Both have huge bodies of work to point to! (Okay. You can stop pointing to it. I'm trying to read. Will you...will you move your finger?!? Sheesh!)

I didn't understand anything in this post. But I'm feeling the enthusiasm, and I like it.

Warnock is his last name. He is Salsa Warnock. And making concert shoes sounds much more fun than making concrete shoes.
