The planning for the awards is still well underway and there is still a chance to make an impact on the awards. All people that contribute to the planning of the awards get recognized as the Planning Committee at the end of the awards. The sooner that the categories are ironed out, the sooner people can start promoting their comics for the awards.
The tentative schedule of events is:
Planning ~ Now – July (Would like to have categories solidified soon)
The Drunk Duck Award Design Contest ~ Submissions ~ June 3 - 9 Voting ~ June 10 -11
Drunk Duck Awards Voting Opens ~ July 1 - 20
Finalists Announced/Volunteers Assigned ~ July 22 - August 4
Judging ~ August 6 - August 25 (All Judging and Presentations is due no later than the 25)
The Ceremony Begins ~ September 10
