Cross over to the Othersiders. Tobias, a typical ten year-old, lives a pretty innocent life as an elementary school student. However, after one morning of playing with his classmates, a distraught vice principal gives him news about his only sister that sends his mind into a slow tumble, and his world into a tailspin. Now that the warmth has been sucked from Tobi's life and replaced with the cool air of mystery, things are about to intensify when Tobi gets a visit by the most unlikely of visitors.
The art resembles an illustrated children's book with fully colored digital pages and highly stylized character designs. The facial expressions alone are pretty awesome. Exemplary use of color theory is executed in this comic that fluctuates between vibrant warm colors and stripped down cool colors to emphasize the mood.
On a side note, the subject matter that deals with death is a little dark for young readers, but is important for the story's main plot in the prologue.
