Have you ever laughed at a joke about Hoverboards? Pondered about the museums offered to dung beetles? Compared the strange mannerisms of humans with animals? Made jokes about poppy flowers? Thought about the items that would be sold at a “Man Mart” themed store?

The Silence of the Lamps has been updating and entertaining Drunk Duck audience members for over two years. This comic is a gag-a-day, single panel comic strip with several stand alone stories. It is the webcomic lover's equivalent to Gary Larson's “The Far Side” comics. An open mind and a vast knowledge of pop culture references is helpful, but not required, to enjoy this wonderful archive of jokes by Zaptoid56.

The art changes styles throughout the course of the comic. Some of the pages are colored digitally while others are in black and white. The art is drawn very stylistically in an original way.

Take a break on your way to the water cooler at work and read The Silence of the Lamps, by Zaptoid56, rated E!

I really dig the off kilter humour. His style of art is also quirky and ranks pretty high on my preference list.

Yeah!! Personally, I like 'Lamps better than the Far Side...the similarity is there for sure. Well deserved feature!!
