We've been implementing various bug fixes and improvements over the last little while. For those of you who don't always check the forums or the Facebook group, here's a little roundup of what we've done so far.

The Top Ten: The top ten is now based on a four-day average of unique hits, and excludes comics that have not updated in four months. This should keep the Top Ten dynamic and fairly accurate.

The forums: The forum overview page now lists the last person to comment in that forum, plus the time and date stamp.

Ads: The project wonderful code was updated to newer code. This will hopefully help us bring in some more money, but remember that one of the things you can do to help support us is give those ads a click if the comic looks interesting!

PQs: Pagination (which ozoneocean assures me is a real word) has been enabled, so if you've got a ton of PQs you'll be able to read through them without any issues.

Image links: I'm especially excited about this one. Image links no longer seem to have all those random letters and numbers after them that you have to delete.

Past bug fixes include: fixed the password reset button, PQ notifications, pre-uploaded comics now appear in “latest updates,” quotes and line breaks now work in the forums, “manage links” now works, and stats are back!


One thing to keep in mind: as we implement changes, other bugs may pop up here and there. If you encounter a bug, please check out my Grand List of Bugs. If your issue isn't in the list, please report it either in that thread or via PQ/email to one of the admins!

Cowboys and Crossovers has just passed 50 strips, and is also entering a new major crossover! Hogan also wanted to make sure that his partner-in-crime Ron Bender of Magical Misfits got his due credit for the comic! :P


Pledge Music Campaign

A friend of Genejoke's is running a campaign for his latest album, which can be found here

One of the available perks was to have your own personal song written and recorded, and Genejoke wanted to share the song that he had made for him, which is about his struggles with anxiety and depression. The lyric video for the song, called Dandelion, is here.
