What makes the “meat” of a story? What makes you fall in love with it, keep coming back for more watches or reads or whatever? I contend it has nothing to do with conflict or culminations or climaxes, those are merely generic structural plottings that are pretty much the same format no matter what story you read- you know they're coming and you know what form they'll take and once they're over it's not really that significant anymore; “re-playability” is low, they're just too tied in with the story structure to have much life away from it in your mind. What keeps me coming back to a story and fall in love with it are the Characters, exploring the world in which they exist, and the development that occurs during the story.
Gunwallace provides us a theme to CTV Revamped, the new version of Charby the Vampirate! Good and creepy techno for Charbs!

I felt I owed you a better theme after the first one. Glad you liked it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It's good to know there are people out there! I'm glad you liked the music Amy.

It's just without feedback I can never know. Posts by Banes, Hippie and Kawaii get regular feedback so I started to assume that these Quackcast ones have something about them that are less appealing. It's a possibility!

Like scarf noted all the forums are quiet. Lack of comments anywhere is probably more an indication of a slow period. Not a general lack of interest.

Whoa I took so long to write that comment that there's 3 comments right when I post haha! I know the feeling Ozone, comments have been coming in slow for me lately too and it absolutely murders your motivation when it feels like nobody is even paying attention!

GROOVY! I loved the CTVRV music, Gunwallace, thank you! I never expected I'd be graced with two lovely themes! :D This was a great ep guys, this is all stuff I take to heart and was nodding like a bobblehead on a bumpy road agreeing with the stuff youse were saying. ESPECIALLY about starting your story off with an exposition dump about how the universe formed... that one gets on my nerves quick!

Ironscarf at 3:22PM, May 17, 2016

Just checked a few - the comments are a graveyard! I definitely think that's a product of the quackcast being more like the conclusion of a topic, with user comments from the forum often included so everyone has already had their say. That's not a bad thing, but nobody likes zero feedback. Maybe it's worth opening up a quackcast forum thread to discuss these issues, garner opiniosn and suggestions, or just spread the love!

Ironscarf at 3:08PM, May 17, 2016

Could be a side effect of the quackcast being based around a discussion that already happened on the forum, i.e. the What Are Your Fave Parts Of A Story thread - and people not having anything further to add? I don't know if there's any way around that. Then again, I usually don't get to listen to casts until long after the discussion is over, so leaving a comment seems redundant. I do enjoy them for what it's worth!

I wonder why these posts so little attention? Are Quackcasts that uninteresting and unrelatable? Maybe we should have someone else do them or just drop them altogether- it's a LOT of work to do them and costs money too, which is pointless if it's a feature that people don't really want. That time and money can better be used on other things.
