With the Thanksgiving holiday coming to a close and Christmas not being far away, now is a good time to take a step back and consider the past year. For my writing partner and I, we had high hopes for the year coupled with a mountain of plans. However, those fell through pretty quickly when the New Year came along. Soon, it had been over five months and we had yet to get back into the swing of things. Sometimes life happens like that.

But the moment we jumped back into our comics, things started moving quickly for us. Our audience has grown so quickly and the goals that we had set at the beginning of the year have now been achieved and exceeded. It has been a year of struggles and triumphs for us but we’re thankful for the incredibly supportive community here on Drunkduck and beyond.

So, as you digest the holidays, take a moment to reflect on how your year has gone, and despite any setbacks, how much you’ve achieved.
