And the Kickstarter is at -

Demons in the Darkness is a Dark Satire about High School Bullying and the “evils” of tabletop Role Playing Games. Four Kids harness the demonic power of their RPG and summon a creature made of their wrath for those who torment them. This hellspawn goes for to kill their bullies and the gamers try to stop it. Will they succeed or will they even want to?!

Also, the teenagers look like adults, and Peter's dialogue is (deliberately?) stilted and unnatural. Real people with Asperger syndrome just talk like people, and to a certain extent they grow out of it.

I read the preview. The art is great (though the Zitz font is an odd choice for a serious story, as it mimics a gag-a-day newspaper comic), but the story doesn't seem appealing so far. I notice this nameless D&D/Settlers of Catan hybrid (?) doesn't require you to roll to see if your attacks succeed, judging by the sequence with Tommy, which would take a lot of the fun out and is asking for people like him to "ruin" the game. The Chick tract "Dark Dungeons" has a similar problem -- the DM declares a character dead seemingly on a whim instead of having the player roll for whether she sees the trap and whether she survives.

This is what Jack Chick was so afraid of.
