This Sunday we have a milestone announcement from DD member InkyMoondrop:


“Hi!”

“I figured I'd request a milestone announcement. Chapter 1 of Blessed Days will end on the 17th of September (new comics get released every Wednesday and Saturday, so it continues on the 21st). I think now is a fairly good time to start following the story. The mainly episodic and comedy-centered 1st chapter is about to wrap up, from now on, it'll get more interconnected, darker, it'll have twists and multiple storylines, it'll get heavier on the drama and with a different blend of genres + a different character's main perspective in each chapter, the 1st Saga's plot is about to slowly unfold.”

“It's the upcoming, longer Chapter 2 really, that sets the narrative theme for the rest of the Saga, but the light-hearted silliness and spoof / reference-heavy strips of Chapter 1 also provide context, so anyone who reads it and sticks around for more: thank you! By the time of the chapter finale's release I'll pass the 1000 hours mark I've spent on writing and editing the comic since the 1st of July, (an average of 12-13 hours / day), this is my life now and I hope some, if not many readers will also enjoy the ride!”
