Site redesign update, NEWS!
The new comic page template is up and running on the test site here: https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/
However, I've been working to make sure it will have a seamless transition to incorporating the customisations on people's individual comic templates so I had to make a few changes to Em's templates. These are her awesome templates with my small changes. *(compact on the left, full size on the right)

THIS is how I envisage them working with three different customised comic templates. I picked these because the originals incorporate a variety of custom features like a border on the comic, side image links, top image links, custom background, custom buttons, and top navigation as well as bottom.

I worked hard to make sure existing user customisations can work with Em's great new designs, (which she worked hard on too). The adaptations aren't not perfect yet but it's a good start! Maybe DD site links will need to change colour to accommodate different colour backgrounds or maybe they can have their own background colour or a transparent faded background or something so they don't disappear with dark BGs?
Hopefully Alexey can work with these because I strongly feel we need to make the transition to a new design as smooth as we can and not piss people off by changing their stuff.
- Lastly I've paid another $800 USD to Alexey for his continued work (from my own money), our advertising and Patreon doesn't cover that so this is why the development time is so slow. Bear with us, we don't have the resources to go faster ^_^

This looks *fantastic*. Just absolutely fantastic. This is great work and objectively a huge step forward and up. Life has swamped me lately, but I'm always happy to see this steady progress! Always moving forward.

Em's slick and modest templates compared to my rough and clunky templates. I think it will make a great roughly modest transition:D Basically, what i'm saying is I'm just gonna be very flexible and go with the flow on this one. Overall, you guys are beyond amazing with the time, effort and resources you're putting into this and it makes me really hope that the DD anthology that me, Genejoke and others are working on will be yet another income provider for this glorious project.

@Paul-You asked about that on the other update, I only saw it today and responded late, sorry about that! What I said was that I would like to increase the max size to an even 1000 and also have the option for users to go to any width they want pretty much- but only if you tick a box when you're uploading to say that your page will be wider- so the auto sizer thing doesn't engage. That helps us avoid a lot of massive pages that people upload when they have no idea about image resizing, so people only upload extra big pages when that's what they intend.

I think we all can't say thank you often enough for all the things you're doing behind the scenes! I forgot whether I asked before, but I take it page size limits will stay the same, won't they? If they do, I'm cool with it, just asking.
