Hi everybody
Today I'm gonna put 3 for 3 different reasons
1. Line art
Comic - the Nine Lives of Maggie Monroe

Year - 2011
this one has an alright story but what really stood out was the lines. I liked that part the best. The characters are nice looking and everything just kinda pops.
2. Color
Comic - Tidbits

Year - 2007
This one is only a few pages but It's totally representative of the early era of webcomics. It seems to be all drawn in the real world and colored with what look to be copic markers. except for the last page which is some pokemon stuff.
3. Experimental 
Comic - HotelSoul

Year - 2007 - 2009
Its's interesting and I'lll probably come back and look through the archive when my internet speed gets above 56k

HotelSoul was a popular-ish comic back in the day, the author remade the comic halfway and gave it a fresh look, she usually tried different stuff, but it always had a ton of style to it. I remember the story wasn't as easy to follow though, and it got more complicated with the remake. Oh and it got started in 2006!

When randomly looking at some of the very cool-looking pages of HotelSoul, one of set's author's comments caught my eye. They said: "College kills comics" - that quote should have become a popular saying or meme! Even if the proper reply would have to be: "Wait until you get employment and say that again." :/ I certainly felt just the same way at roughly the same time, and it's as catchy a catchphrase as can be.

Some real gems again! I won't say anything against digital art, but nothing ever has quite the same vibes as ye good olde handmade stuff.
