Hello, everyone, and welcome to Panel by Panel, a periodic exploration of comic panels around The Duck. We return to our workshop series this week. First, some housekeeping.

The first workshop was spread across two posts; one to gather your thoughts and introduce the comic, and the second to cover your comments and add my own. That worked well. What didn't work all that well was introducing the next workshop subject within the second part of the first subject. So going forward, I think I am going to stick to the idea of sharing the workshop target, rather than try to accomplish too much in one post.

Second, if your comic has been featured in a Panel By Panel post already, I am likely to prioritize people who haven't been in the spotlight before. So I am technically following a bottom-up order on the comments of the initial workshop series post, but if I skip you for now, you know the reason.

Anyway, enough about that. Let's turn to our subject for this current workshop. Our page submission comes from xalienrath from the comic IWATSV. Specifically, we are looking at the update “3.023 - The One Becomes Legion.”

Here is a small version of it for reference, but you should visit the update itself to see it at full size.



So over the next week or so, please take some time to look at the page, read a bit of the comic, and share your thoughts on the construction of the page in the comments of this post. You may want to take the page in as part of a sequence of pages, or you may want to go in cold and give first impressions of what you think works and what could be done better. All approaches are valid. As always, just don't be a jerk.
