@Banes Moonshine McJugs was a Li'l Abner type comic that artist Frank Thorne (known for his Red Sonja work for marvel) did for Playboy.

@plymayer - Li'l Abner, definitely...so much so that I'm now looking to make sure this is set apart from that classic. I'm gonna have to look up "Moonshine McJugs", hahaha! Never heard of that one, though I can imagine what it must be...
