It's that time of year, the Drunk Duck Awards have rolled around again. This year Niccea is the Awards Empress, taking over from JustNoPoint and she has done a marvellous job with all the complications she's had to deal with. In this Quackcast we announce which comics have won awards so far.

A well done podcast, people! And huge props to Niccea for her work on the Drunk Duck Awards. We behaved ourselves very well despite the fact that Harkovast designated himself the pet gadfly for OUR renegade 2011 Comic Awards show. ;) Also appreciated the reviews and comments for A Deviant Mind! I take all compliments and criticisms to heart. As you can see from House of the Muses #1 to what I am doing now, I only get better. And yes, Skoolmunkee, the Alpha Centaurians ARE red. Thanks again for all the kudos this year. Poser comics were not very popular at all when I took on the reins for House of the Muses, and it's my own personal challenge to hold fast to my chosen medium. More to come!

Finally got to listen. Audio difficulties aside, another great 'cast. And thanks for the shout out. I literally blushed! Big ups to Niccea for all the leadership and work!

Get thee a mic, Empress (the audio is reminiscent of the Lou Gehrig speech) - otherwise Fantastic quackcast! So glad to learn Pinky TA is making a clean sweep of the biggies. :) Seriously, your leadership really shows, Niccea. This has been my 1st experience with the awards, and it demonstrates how the community can and did come together in a very fun and supportive way.
