I kinda have to disagree with the big thing about Stacy perhaps lying. Didn't Gerry's mother confirm that she was wrong and little Stacy had been telling the truth? She seems to believe it. And if nothing else, we know full well he'd assaulted some other girls so he's scum no matter how you look at it. But I do think she probably shouldn't have mentioned what Stacy told her...

On the guy who became her step-dad, Stacey was not lying or distorting the truth (his reaction is proof enough) Sarah not telling Janey who it was because Janey would have giving the creep Stacey's number? Probably her address and the petrol money as well Was thinking her 'wheels' would be roller skates (not roller blades, old fashioned disco-era roller skates :P)

Jase: haha yes, About half an hour after I put the page up it suddenly flashed through my mind that I couldnt recall her wearing her specs in that panel so I came charging in toslap them on using photopaint. I was rather hoping I'd got there before anyone noticed!! lol Did you get my PQ btw? DAJB and Archangel: I quite agree, Sarah should have kept quiet about having Stacey's phone no. and she should have certainly refrained from mouthing off at him, but you know Sarah, she can't help giving people the benefit of her own personal feelings! And Dave you are quite right, Stacey could have been lying to Sarah, time will tell! Megaaaan!!: Good to see you back. Sarah is based on me as you know and so this is me putting my foot in it and wishing I'd just denied even knowing who Stacey was. Carl E: Wheels!! Sarah's explanation in the third panel was fine - she has no proof that he's who he says he is (although he pretty much confirms it in the next two panels!) He may be able to cause some real trouble for them, if he's a vengeful bastard - and he sure seems like one! Wheels? You mean, like a scooter or something? ;)

Oooh, Sarah! The first two panels protected Stacy's privacy well enough and she should've bitten her tongue after that! As far as she knows, Stacy's "confession" could have been a pack of self-justifying lies and distortions of the truth. I'm not suggesting it was, but you never know the full story of what goes on in other people's families!

...Looks like you forgot to draw Sarah's glasses in panel five! An interesting page though... It was inevitable that things would go badly, I think.
