SS7 41 Night out at Colors 9

The story so far:
Sarah and her friends are having a night out at a local gay club and she is caught up in a snowball that started with some small irritating remarks from a stranger that tipped her mood in the wrong direction and is now becoming compacted by the behaviour of her ex girlfriend Janey whose behaviour she is finding continually annoying. On top of that her new girlfriend Lucy also seems more interested in discussing an upcoming concert with an old flame which leaves Sarah feeling left out.

Next week: Drink starts to pull Sarah's mood down even further but at the same time gives her the Dutch courage to do something about it!

Coydog: Hiii and yes, personally I'd rather spend a few hours with one or two friends than an evening with all of them but then again I'm a fairly quiet person anyway on the whole.

The best and worst of my so-long-ago clubbing days, encapsulated on a couple of pages. I was lying awake, the other night. I never count sheep. but I was counting all my best ever days - and realised I could fit them all in to ONE year of living, if they were contiguous ! I dunno, maybe I'm not alone there... B-)

Bear: That's a very interesting idea and as most of my days generally feel like good ones I'm not really sure where I'd draw the line between a good day and a best ever day as life is so full of highs and lows. At my highest moments I've often had this sudden sadness come over me the next day that such moments are often random, surprising and so unique in the way they felt that it would never be quite the same again even to live that same day over.

Neat page. Love the details like Pippa in panel five, and the disconsolate Nikki. And for some reason in the bottom right panel I find the words "plump" and "little" springing to mind. -blush- And is it just me, but is Sarah making eyes at the bar maid? …………………………………………………………………….. PSA: Don't drink & drive. Also: Don't drink & existential crises around current and former lovers.

So where on earth is Lucy?! Can't she see her gf is upset? I'd be feeling bummed too if I were Sarah. Oh and I see Blue Hair found Red Hair and that makes a nice Royal Purple which is an auspicious color- should work out fine.
