We're just eight weeks away now from arriving at the present day and the theatre concert but at this point in time Sarah's bitterness towards Janey has mellowed as she reflects on her behaviour on their recent night out and discovers more happened that night than she realised.. or remembers!
We also have a parallel between Lenore's visits to her child's grave in the past and Sarah's quest to find where that grave actually is in the present. Also worth noting that the ‘sacred’ Witch Bottle Sarah is searching for was never the original obstacle keeping Lenore away in the past, it was the mysterious Hopkins. ;)
Next week: Janey enlightens Sarah on what happened between Nikki and Peter during that first encounter!

You are jus going to have to buy your own hats and model them so you can get the proper look from all angles :)

Nic: I can see from your user pic you are into hats so I should have expected this :) My only trouble in giving her a hat is keeping it consistent. It doesn't look too bad on this page but half way through the next I started struggling with how it should look from other angles, so she may not be wearing it very often! :)

Well, firstly, take care Becky and very glad that you're okay .............................. Secondly, so Janey was stringing Pippa along to be nice to Nikki? OK, being nice to Nikki is good, stringing someone along, not so good. Hopefully we're not going to re-visit J.K. Rowling territory again, but I feel there are better, and nicer, ways to make Nikki feel wanted than by playing mind games with people. And it does cross my mind that Janey may not be being entirely honest why she was dancing & flirting with various people. Though maybe Janey was doing what she said for the reasons she said. ............................... (Gosh I'm waffling a bit!) ....................................... But some more interesting stuff in this strip. Nikki's ex-Peter, interesting, & the info from Sky that the Sarah's hunt for the Witch bottle is a wild-goose chase. So next week, more concert? More farmers field? Or more Victorian adventures? We shall see.

Fruitbat: Waffle away dear friend! Do you think some day in the future people may buy copies of our finished book just so they can tweet me to say they burned them? It's a sobering thought! Janey doesn't really think straight for sure and I'm not sure she ever has but Nikki said all along that she expected Pippa to lose interest when she found out the truth. Importantly though, Janey's flirtation with Pippa was minimal and she wasn't just using Lex to get back at her either, there is more said about her later on.

Bear: Yes we are! Back on schedule again. Becky had to have surgery to replace her pacemaker last week so I had quite expected last weeks page to be this update but she did us proud! As for Nikki, originally I'd written it in as part of the evening but when the page count for that scene reached 13 I decided to hold back and do it this way instead.
