What to say, what to say… what to say! Well you all know the story line at the moment, if you don't then look back at last weeks editorial to save me copy/pasting it twice.
The art sucks this week, I don't need to ask for your confirmation on that and if you leave comments saying ‘it’s really not that bad you know' it doesn't matter..I'll know your just being supportive!
Some people say I talk too much, not on here but out there. They say it with a friendly smile of course but the eyebrows don't quite match. Maybe I say too much here too, only I can't see your eyebrows when I read the comments!
So I guess that will do for this week. I've said something, so you won't have to worry that I'm ill or depressed or anything.
And just to prove I'm not a robot, I correctly counted three sets of traffic lights this week- but got honked at a lot for stopping on a green to count them.

I sometimes wonder how much of the tension between Sarah and Laura is Lucy picking up on? Sometimes she seems oblivious to it. Of course, we don't see what she and Lucy talk about when Sarah isn't there

Neat little page. As to artwork, well Sky, you must set yourselves some very high standards. (Btw, glad you're not a robot. -g- ) As to this weeks dialogue . . . have you ever seen the humorous (or sexist depending on your POV) guide to what a woman says vs what she actually means? "It's okay." Oh dear. It's not as bad as "Fine," but it's definitely not good.

Hi Sky, I did a little Googling & I couldn't fine it. -doh!- Some lists were throne up, some were rather amusing & sadly some were rather unpleasant, but I did fine this: http://ekyshirley.blogspot.com/2014/07/10-deadly-words-used-by-woman.html ............... Interestingly it puts "Okay" way above "Fine." But whatever the exact meaning, it's clear from the above page, it's not okay. And I'm very glad you enjoy your art.

Fruitbat: I'll have to Google that but if you have a link, I'll gladly watch it! :) I think a desire to do better is what drives most people, whatever they are good at because it's the one thing that stops whatever you're into becoming boring. I still get highs from doing art that I'm pleased with so it feels right not to be high all the time :)

JDG68: Hand on heart, nearly every page I've ever done has at least one panel that makes me cringe to look back on. I've done a mere handful of pages that I really feel happy with as complete pages but mostly my faves are among the odd panels here and there which just somehow feel to me to capture something more than I'd expected.

What charming comments by you Sky! You were in a fun mood this morning! (*Eyebrows raised questioningly, wondering what you were up to last night!) To me it seems Lucy is oblivious to Laura's feelings, and Laura is blaming Sarah for it, but she really should have a little bit of gratefulness to Sarah that she has Lucy in her life again!

Nic: *shivers* I felt this was a rather long overdue opportunity for Laura to finally share her feelings which she only hinted at during the night out many pages ago by shedding tears. So I'm glad everyone is enjoying this scene.

The eyebrows don't quite match- I get that! But sometimes I miss it and really wind up talking too much. And then I call my friends up and talk too much about how I talked too much.

Fred: Haha And you can't see eyebrows over the phone either! I know a number of friends and family who have trouble saying goodbye on the phone which always amuses me. I've got pretty good at just saying 'my dinners ready I have to go!'

Haha, Sarah might be better off just staying acquaintances with Laura; after all, she's sort of dating the girl Laura misses most. :) I really like this page and the last, lots of interactions with the characters and informative dialogue. Sarah must be really trying to figure out how Laura is going to fit in their lives long term.

That is OK, I really think it is pretty obvious how happy and motivated she is; so much so that she does not see the friction between them. Certainly makes me figure that Laura keeps any current feelings towards Lucy and any negativity towards Sarah to herself but I'm also very curious what Laura and Lucy talk about together if Laura is so reserved. :) Awesome, will be here!

Gemi: I would have liked to have had more of Lucy's telephone conversation going on in the background as I feel it shows how the concert always seems to dominate her thoughts. There's more of this private conversation between Sarah and Laura next page. :)

Tommym! I was starting to worry about you again, you will keep wandering off! ;) Hope you had a lovely Christmas and you're keeping in good health.! :) As for Laura. I think Sarah's lost her grip on that friendship now!
