Thanks to all of you who left such nice comments on the last page, it really did give me a nice boost as well as reminding me how lucky we have been over the years to have so many supportive readers to cheer us on when we've been losing momentum.
I'm not sure why I always find the last few pages of each chapter so hard to do but it's something that has crept up on me in every chapter of this whole thing and the feeling reminds me of running in a race because I always start off each chapter with renewed excitement and enthusiasm but after about six pages I then feel a need to pace myself because turning out too many pages too fast can suddenly implode and make me want to do anything else but the comic for at least a week or two during which time I end up swallowing the reserve. When the end is in sight though it becomes very surreal as in my mind I know I only have ten or so pages to go and yet the the effort it takes to do them seems greater than ever especially when I start getting excited about other new ideas instead, it's suddenly like a ball and chain I want to cut loose.
But thanks to all your nice comments last week I know I have to stop thinking beyond this comic until it's completed and that caused me to start rewriting the final pages again which has revived my enthusiasm somewhat as it's led to new dialogue and more interesting art direction
which has resulted in renewed enthusiasm!
As I've said before our readers have always been so much a part of what makes this little comic so special.
Next weeks page is already done ;)

Dear Sky. The way they are holding hands I would think its love reborn but what would I know @ gemi you have interesting idea Think one of them wants to rekindle, Laura might feel Lucy wants to move on. thumb and fore finger of lucy says to me, She is not sure, she may now feel a commitment to Sarah tommym

Tommym: I love how much thought you have put into the details in the artwork. I think at this point Lucy is feeling more conflicted than she's ever been about the two women in her life. :)

Partly luck! I always know if the expression is going to be sad, happy or angry but how that comes out as a pen stroke is often just intuitive than guided. :)

It's always possible that Sarah is misinterpreting the emotions that these two have for each other. Rather than a rekindling of passion, perhaps what she is viewing is closure for both of them. My theory is that they started this concert with the intention to give their closeness a last 'Hazzah' so that after, they feel they are allowed to move on. If this is the case, than Laura's emotional solo would have been her final expression of her lost love with Lucy rather than that of succumbing to perpetual sadness. I'm probably wrong, but it's an interesting thought and I wanted to write it here. :p It's a fantastic journey, and I am loving this last chapter.

Ah, thanks, Sky! That is OK - you did not want to give anything away! :) And wow, you are right, this really is not looking good for Sarah from any perspective. Can't wait for the next page!

Gemi: This was a lovely viewpoint and so romantic too! I didn't want to respond before the next page went up as it would have ruined things a bit to give the game away but as you can see from the following page things are not looking so good for Sarah now :)

You have nice week too Sky. Glad to hear that your enthusiasm has been renewed. :) I'll be sad when SS ends, but I am looking forward to seeing what comes next. Another very sad page for Sarah, but the last line and last image are beautiful.

Fruitbat: I have so many ideas that excite me but as far as comics go I will just be working on short one off stories for a while as I think it will be more fun and relaxing that way.
