Bit of a quiet page this week but you'll notice I've skipped through the ceremony a bit because we have more important issues going on here than the happy event but it had to be done!

Thanks as always for all your lovely comments it was lovely to look in last week and see so many enthusiastic responses! There really isn't much to say about this page so I imagine this will be one of those quiet week!

Next week: We're back to following the tension building between Janey and Stacey again as the atmosphere between them becomes ever more strained!

that carriage is a really nice touch I must say. I'm not usually attending weddings so I'm learning a thing or two with this chapter!

The carriage is an actual one used by a wedding day supplier and it's called 'the Cinderella' so as soon as I saw it I wanted to do a version of it as it seemed such a lovely idea. I got the impression from the comments that US and UK weddings differ somewhat. I think I got it right but it was based on my own memories mostly.

Dear Sky, Here in the States many "new LGBT rights" that were fought for in the streets and in courts won Clarence Thomas did not known enough to ask a question are little by little being rolled back. tommym

Tommym: I've heard of some pretty alarming stuff going on in the states over LGBT rights. It sounds like it's becoming very political now.

DV: Probably, yes. In a traditional church wedding they have this thing about the bride arriving last and the groom standing at the altar waiting for her but with Registry Office weddings it's much more relaxed. I did ponder this though and felt it seemed nicer they got to enjoy the ride together.

Ahhh. That was sweet. Even Gerry & Sasha's Butch & Femme vibe. Also Sarah's dreams of a futue with Janey . . . sweet, but maybe a touch optimistic??????? And the coach driver, have we seen her(?) somewhere before? ..................... Anyway the wedding itself went off without a hitch; now we have the reception . . . we'll see how that goes.

Fruitbat: I didn't have anyone in mind for the coach driver as I imagined the hire company have their own staff. A lot of my background characters do have a similar look though as I seem conditioned into drawing people in a set sort of way. XD

Fred: According to the Church of England website UK law does not allow gay people to be married in a church even if the local vicar was happy to preside over it which seems very behind the times of them to my mind.
