I am a struggling comic book writer/artist, a Star Wars,Lord of the Rings, Nausicaa (of the Valley of the Wind) and Chodenji Mashin Voltes V fan, I do 3D arts, I draw manually, create my very own graphic novels, Listen to Smooth Jazz, play The Sims 3 and Sims Medieval, collect action figures and die cast robot miniatures, I'm facinated with ancient Philippine folklore, I hate the Judeo/Christian God concept and it's idiotic followers, I've submitted some works for InfernoKrusher Fatory, a local Philippine indie comic studio. I've written a book about Lower Philippine Mythology (The Balete Book)

Loosely based on ancient Philippine mythology and other folklore adventures, "Warrior Girl Halihana" is a story of a young and beautiful warrior hottie named Halihana who fought for her gender rights as well as in battle against hordes of malevolent monsters, dark beasts and other unwholesome entities. A pert and spunky daughter of a Chieftain, Halihana is accompanied by a young perimeter guard named Higad in her battle and acts as her "sensual companion" in times of her bodily needs and her little sister Anawi, an equally cute, sexy and spunky little warrior girl who seems to be a magnet for trouble. Halihana vows to fulfill an ancient prophecy of slaying a great beast so horrifying, it's mere arrival can wipe out all living things on Earth.

It's better to wallow on a pond full of ducks, than to swim on a pool of gators...makes sense, unless the duck pond had broken bottles, soaking electrical cords or forgotten landmines. :)

It's "inspiring" to think of stories that revolves around "Ancient Philippines stuff"...may these be from a supposedly, unrecorded account from the past or a "future" that reverts back to seemingly ancient looking times.... Doing Philippine stories set TODAY?...Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

I've noticed much of the movies (Be them as live or 3D animation) and in most comics, continues to exhibit machismo mind set in the stories. (How subtle they maybe.) Even there are strong, female characters in a story, it is always the "Nerdie", low potential male characters who ends up having the last say or getting the girl's interest...when will this ever end???
