Sarah is a fairly ordinary person who just wants to lead a quiet life but seems to have a habit of getting herself into extremely complicated situations! Contains themes of an LGBT nature.

The Island of March is a peculiar place for it's divided in half by a chalk line. One side of the island is populated by regular people, led by the wealthy merchant Sliced Hamm. On the Other Side however it's a different Story: pirates, lead by Nino Magliani, a mysterious tribe, a dissatisfied poet, Machiavelli's grandson and a bouquet of strange characters make life incredibly chaotic for Nino's daughter, Roxanne and her best gay friend Errol. But Roxanne has a plan to make the chaos stop, stipulate a peace treaty between the People and the Pirates, constantly at war. It all seems to work, until the owner of the island comes back.

The Pirate's Wife is a spin off of The Pirate Balthasar but can also be read independently as the stories here collected are told from the point of view of different characters - who become main narrators of their own adventures and lives. The first sets of stories are told through the eyes of little Itzak who will introduce us to his life, since birth, and the focuses on his close relationship with the pretty lady who nurtures him- apparently called mommy - whom he likes to refers to as Din Din.
