Redemption is a piece of Final Fantasy VII fanfiction which takes place chronologically after the end of Dirge of Cerberus. Its main focus will be on Lucrecia Crescent—Sephiroth's mother, Hojo's thought-to-be-late wife, and Vincent's true love. Dirge of Cerberus shed light on many things, but left the tragic Lucrecia's loose ends yet untied. Many sins still plague the scientist's heart and keep her from experiencing neither life nor death, something which will continue to nag at Vincent even after his own sins have been absolved. When the opportunity presents itself for Lucrecia to finally lend a hand in righting some of her past wrongs, Vincent will be there to aid the one for whom he has lived and died, and lived again. Advent Children was Cloud's redemption, Dirge of Cerberus was Vincent's, and here begins hers...
