So here it is, the dreaded biography. In most cases, small-timey artists like myself will write this part in the third person for the allusion that someone else wrote it or something else I just couldnt stomach or understand. Lets see here, where do I start? Heres the gist of it. I am a storyteller, writer, kind-of-a-cartoonist, actor and essentially whatever else they will pay me to be, based out of the Los Angeles area. Im from a tiny sinkhole in Massachusetts called Fairhaven and now I live in a tiny place in California with a beautiful woman and two small dogs. I write full-length, hour-plus long storytelling shows that typically have to do with some historical figure or event that also have autobiographical stories that weave in and out of the narrative. I recently performed my show on Ulysses S. Grants life before and after the Civil War, appropriately titled, Everything Else Is War at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. One is an autobiographical show on my early years, Shackled to a Corpse. The other is an autobiographical show on my later years up until I joined the Air Force, titled Garbage Avalanche. Both shows were performed in the Los Angeles area. I am currently hammering out a piece on the three major waves of plague, Yersinia pestis. Its called Big Bad Black Death and it is wicked. It tells the story of Andre Yersin, who discovered the bacterium that causes plague, how and why it spread, the different forms it takes, how it shaped the modern world and some good old fashioned blood and guts. I just know you will love it.
