In real life Im an arty-photographer with general inclinations toward live music and landscape, but Im really concerned with getting away from representative for its own sake. I cook all my own work and hate most of the chemistry you can pick up at the store, preferring to mix up exactly what I want instead. Not to be totally oldie though, I became a Photoshop neophyte back around 97 and have lived by my mouse for years at a time since. I used to have a studio in a half-ruined factory, and actually lived there for nearly a year. I play guitar sometimes.
Im a total SF nut, with a leaning toward the older stuff… you know… like in Astounding for instance. . .

It's a fantasy comic loaded with unashamed homages to my favorite horror movies, featuring a colorful cast of characters, and for some of them I mean that literally. The cast is mostly non-human, both mythological creatures from folklore and original creatures. A lot of friendship and found family, and a few rampages of revenge.

yay I'm glad you know who Laika is. ; ) have you ever seen the movie "My Life as a Dog" by any chance? there's a big laika-theme running through the film (it's a really good coming-of-age movie!) Also, Mecano sings a song (in spanish) about Laika... there's a line that's something like, "on the world there's one less dog... but in the sky, one more star". cheesy, but awesome.
