And now it begins: the debut of a story I first created when I was in 10th grade back in 1980 (yeah, yeah, back in the Stone Age). I was saying awhile back when I tossed that first preview out for everyone to look at, it's taken me so long to publish this because I was AFRAID to. I was pretty deep for a 16 year old, and many of the darker pages of this series became a springboard for my early social commentary.
It's dark, ugly, allegorical, and makes House of the Muses look like a preschool story. What the hell! I'm a crusty, mature old broad now and know how to better tell a story after these past 30 years. So stick around. It's going to get interesting.

"it's taken me so long to publish this because I was AFRAID to." Isn't like that? You get your best, most creative, enduring ideas as a child and it takes 30 years to develop the skills to pull them off the way you want. Looking forward to reading the rest of the story (catching up).

Awww a mini hydra, just what every child needs to complete their formative years. Almost getting run down by two space ships is also what every kid needs to fine tune their sense of self preservation.
