Ah well time to go tune up the Second Guess Engine, and remember I said he was an agent for a consortium of bad guys, killers, muggers, kidnappers, and worst of all lawyers.
@artdude2002: You smelled a coverup several pages back.... :P
@Xatiav: Well, we now know there are some survivors from the homeworld, relocated somewhere, but since family units were usually kept to one transport, there are a great number unaccounted for. And yes, since A Deviant Mind #1 when it was mentioned wireheads were popping up dead all over various sectors, Tara may very WELL be the only survivor.
@kaleygeminni, dueeast: Love is complicated enough for us regular folks, so having spent an emotional evening [was I vague enough there?] with a telepath would likely make it even more so.
P.S.: Love ghostrunner's theory. Yes, it was Black Friday shoplifters.
@dragonrider: Yes, I received your additional two pages of conspiracy theory. Nooooooo, not quite, you're a couple miles off. ;) And you're giving that Senator WAY too much credit. I told you before, he's a pawn. There is a greater evil at work here. ;)
The infamous Senator, or esteemed Authoress might that be the infamous SINator, would seem to indeed be the proverbial enigma wrapped in a conundrum, packed in the nastiest stuff in all 17 universes and 900 dimensions. We now know why he's bulletproof and still alive, Heaven doesn't want him and Hell's afraid he'll take over.
I like that the senator is at least asking questions and not jumping to conclusions. She has potential, methinks!
Good job making Adrian look as devastated as she is. I like the first frame the most, actually.
No, Adrian's still in Tara's quarters, where she was found unconscious in Tara's bed after the 'love 'em and leave 'em' episode...at least she had the decency to put her clothes on her before she left instead of leaving her to get caught in the buff. I don't think even Adrian could have forgiven that....
Couple of things here;
A) Is Adrian in the slammer? That looks like a holding cell of some type.
B) Why do I get the feeling the Senator specifically does not want what happened to those transport to come to light?

I smell a cover up.

Well, there's the possibility of all them surviving to the sun's explosion... If the sun exploded. Or maybe she's the only survivor.
kaleygeminni at 8:42AM, Dec. 12, 2010
I agree with dueeast. Adrian really looks torn up. :(
