Yeah, paint is like the best editor for creating custom thingys. So no white on that bground.
And the pokemons are bigger than the trainers. Resize the trainers and the background by 200% and leave the pokemon unharmed.
Your recolor sucks. You've got the shading wrong.

Ummm, why is there white behind both trainers? Oh, and make the tails on the bubbles straight.
