Heres the twist I wanted people to stick around for, I hope noone was scared off by the silver age ness of the beginning. From now on the comic will be less cheesy and a little darker, but with a little humor…..heres hoping I have a single reader so they read this >_>

I just started reading today, and I was beginning to think "Is he even trying to not make it exactly like Batman?" (I don't mind basing the leads off him, but the Commissioner and the signal?) This is a very welcome twist. I did not see that coming. I like how we're on the same page as the narrator. You expect everything to play out as usual.

This is very sad:( But I will say I like the way you tell your story. Your captions are well written out. I can tell you spent time on choosing dialog and the like. Poor BlackHawk

To end all the chest plate comments from people reading through the archives. MOVIE batman is bullet proof, movie batman also cannot move his neck. In the comics batman has been depicted as having a thin layer of kevlar under his spandex, but bullets can still get through it...because Batman has been shot, and fairly recently too. Batman just has the luck to not get shot in any vital organs. I don't have Blackhawk or even Acrobat wearing bullet proof suits because it lowers mobility. They're in the superhero business, where crazy stuff happens. So being bulletproof doesn't mean crap if you're too weighed down to dodge a shrink ray.

Yep, It's Funny. In A Dark, Twisted Way. The Funny Part Is That The Mentor "BatMan" Gets Killed. Not The Apprentice "Robin". I Must Say, This Was... Un-Expected.

As much as I saw it coming, I'm glad you killed him, along with the Batman-ness.
Pulse at 9:50PM, Nov. 24, 2007
hmm didn't like the fact that he didn't wear a bullet proof vest maybe you should've made him die a different way?

Oops. Faved.

Like Batman, he has a cape. Unlike Batman, he dosen't have a bullet resistant chestplate.

literacysuks1 at 10:07PM, Sept. 4, 2006
Does this scene seem humorous? I suppose in a dark sort of way : /. Maybe I need to do some re writing to make it....not funny. >_
Happy_Schman at 9:56PM, Sept. 4, 2006
Hahahaha. That was pretty funny. This whole scene in the warehouse reminds me of the warehouse scene in the first spiderman. 'Cept he gets shot! haha.
