Who's Murdering Miss Scarlet?: Page 27
Ironscarf on April 1, 2020
Security men - loosely based on the fellows who manned the front desk when I worked for Her Majesty's Civil Service. We weren't licensed to kill, but we did have our own government issue lasers. It was comforting to know that in the event of a major terrorist attack, these chaps were chuffing a fag in the car park, god bless 'em! Upwards and onwards.

I had to look that up; always wondered it meant but never got around to searching it. Now to look up Canada...
moizmad at 12:40PM, Sept. 14, 2016
In Canada Miss Scarlet would be called a hoser.

Many thanks! Likewise I've been reading your strip and haven't got around to commenting yet, but I will! Glad you're enjoying this so far.
Bruno Harm at 9:24AM, May 20, 2016
This is my second time through reading your comic and I haven't even had the decency to leave one comment! This is a great strip! The art is excellent. the style and the color choice makes it unique. and the way you're playing out everyone's theories is amazing!

As they say Unk, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, or in certain unusual situations, up the snout (the second half of that saying is slightlyless well known).
Unka John at 5:21PM, May 3, 2016
I'm not quite sure what to think about a snoutload of Miss Scarlet.
Ironscarf at 12:43PM, May 2, 2016
That usage is widely understood here Banes. I was just trying for the sympathy vote, but thanks!
Banes at 5:19PM, May 1, 2016
HAHAHA...wait...is "unreal" not slang for "fantastic" outside of Canada? Or has your wit once again reared its witty...rear?
Ironscarf at 2:05AM, April 5, 2016
@ozoneocean: Thanks. Drawing swathes of orange hair is one of the most fun to do things on this comic!
Ozoneocean at 8:59AM, April 4, 2016
Those security chaps are real orcs :D Scarlet's mop looks magnificent!
Ironscarf at 4:21AM, April 3, 2016
@Banes: Thank you! And you noticed that unreal perspective! I was hoping to get away with it but never fear - once I work out how to use the Manga Studio Perspective Tool, it won't happen again!
Ironscarf at 4:18AM, April 3, 2016
@KimLuster: This is probably my favourite scenario too. Until now, Pashmeena has been looking like the sensible one, so this was a great opportunity to show more of her true character!
Ironscarf at 4:13AM, April 3, 2016
@skreem: A Hugsley family spin off might be a bit much for my limited canine drawing skills, but I'll try to squeeze in more family members if I can.
Ironscarf at 4:12AM, April 3, 2016
@dpat57: Thanks! It's probably the only example where the billions of pounds invested didn't just disappear without trace. New computer system anyone?
Ironscarf at 4:09AM, April 3, 2016
@tupapayon: I suppose it comes with the job. The hours are flexible thoughand they seem to enjoy their work, judging by the manic laughter. Bwahahahahahha!
Banes at 4:37PM, April 2, 2016
HAHAHA! Another Hugsley? Love it. That first panel is unreal!
KimLuster at 7:05AM, April 2, 2016
Hahaha their suspicions just get wilder and wilder - I think I like this one the best!! Great art again!!
Froggtreecomics at 4:12AM, April 2, 2016
The noble Hugsley family. Here we see the older scary brother (the one with a job), his smaller yipping (bite sized) sibling is still loafing about in the park. (*coff Huglsey Family spin off comic *coff).

Wait a moment, I know that goblin like evil doer! I can't place but I think I last saw him in the old Soviet Union. Or it could just be Boris Karloff.
dpat57 at 12:30AM, April 2, 2016
Lovely work as always. HMG's goblin-human hybrid breeding program has paid off handsomely, totally worth the billions of pounds invested.
tupapayon at 8:53PM, April 1, 2016
Those agents of evil!!!... why do they have to be so... evil?...
