I suppose this is a little obscure, but this is the BGH equivalent of the “Superman Revenge Squad” from the JL cartoon and the comics. Each one of these ladies have crossed Dan's path at some point before.
Also, yay for Pandora finally making it back into the comic. I actually really like the character, she just doesn't always fit in the storyline's I have planned.
BWHAHAHA! You are so in trouble Dan. Go Gen on taking advantage of that promise by the way.
Lygra also got a face punch the day Dan got back from Hell. You just don't hit a girl's face.
I love the Dana Geros part. It reminds me of someone's mother signing them up for a club or activity at school so they can make friends, completely behind thier backs. I can see it now "Honey, I signed you up for a revenge pact. Why? Because you need to get out and have more friends little mister, now get your little hiney outside right this minute!"
I realize that my rant made me sound like an unappreciated fanboy jerk but I was merely verbally digesting the story from my perspective. Thanks for the counter-input.
Thanks for answering red death (maybe its time for more power cards or a bad guy wiki)
gs quared it seems that school is going to be rebuilt eventually, I thought Lygra was just a fill in forced to join the revange squad.
Also every chick team needs a bikini cat girl.
One thing Dan also did was notably affect their personal lives.
Lygra lost her school and much of I suspect her potential for graduating.
Pandora lost her arms but with the destruction of the school she lost her job as well.
Dana Gerous probably lost some benefits and pay time when her employer got thrown in jail.
@Product Placement: For one thing, i'm really happy you're interested enough in the comic to even be saying anything. It's always a good sign when fans actually critique, because that means they care.
Anyway:
Lygra, in addition to being thwarted by Dan that one instance(which, in the world of super-villainy, really is enough to merit a desire for revenge) she is also a student at BGH, and would thusly know about SuperDan and his reputation at the school. So him stopping her that one time would be seen as a personal attack, rather than by some stranger.
Dana Geros, wants revenge against Dan on behalf of Ivan Vincible, who was implied in BGH#353 to be a REOCCURRING enemy of Dan's. One that I just never featured in BGH. You can imagine a scenario where Ivan Vincible is currently in prison because of SuperDan, and Dana Geros is trying to avenge him.
As for Gen, her story has yet to play out, so I beg your patience.
Out of those three ladies, only Pandora has a genuine cause to be holding a grudge against Dan. I mean really? "I was committing and SuperDan stopped me. Now I will not rest until he's dead."
Or actually, Should I say out of those four ladies? Gen sure has a big chip on her shoulder after being told about something that could hypothetically happen in the future. She already did go on a preemptive revenge quest when she tried to kill Dan (causing him to get that scar). Dan did a good job confronting her back then, demonstrating that he did not want that future to occur. If I were her, I'd start wondering if the fault is her own. If you keep attacking a guy, who's supposed to do you harm in the future, he might eventually snap and do the things you were hoping to prevent.
I mean lets look at it this way: Before she was told what was going to happen, had Dan ever heard about her? No. The first time he ever met her was when she was aiming a gun at his face. Not a very good first impression, I must say.
-Lygra was speedblitzed KO'ed by Dan in BGH#250
-Pandora blames the loss of her arms on Dan from BGH#314
-Dana Geros was one of Ivan Vincible's (unnamed) henchwomen in BGH#353
And if you notice, Pandora currently has artificial arms, they're just covered in black gloves. Like Dr. No. That's why they're sparks coming out of them.
I dont remember Dana geros, but didnt Pandora lost her legs or something like that, and whats up with lycra I dont remember her having
a grudge against Dan she was just one of the many backgrounds characters at BGH maybe she wanted to join the girl club.
Anyway kinda Super Dan is now out of their league since he got God level
power up
