I'm surprised more of you didn't guess it, what with the red hair and all.
And that is what we call a “wrap”! The Crossoverlord side-story is now well and done! For those of you who want to continue on with the Crossoverlord story (as if you haven't already) this leads the heroes directly into Crossoverlord Chapter 8, page 16, as seen here:

So if red hair and evil tendencies were a clue about Dan's "derivative"... ...does this mean Evan, with blonde hair and an affinity for dolphins is this world's... and a love interest who is herself super powers... Naaaaah, couldn't be. We'd have seen him with a trident or something at some point. ;-)

Nice twist. I hope he manages to overcome his inclinations. Personally, I've never liked the idea that Lex Luthor and Superman (and their various analogues) are "destined" to be at odds in their respective roles of villain and hero. It sort of takes the responsibility for their conditions off their shoulders. How could the universe be so cruel as to demand that a man be evil? It's far more satisfying to me to think of the villain as someone with the potential to be good, who has fallen into their role by their own volition. That way, it's not unreasonable to think that they might some day be redeemed. But I keep running across this notion that Lex Luthor is just doomed to be a bastard. Like it's written in the stars. Makes me feel sorry for him, all things considered. And I don't want to!

Yeah, he looks a lot like the so-called heroic Alexander Luthor. But the other Lex with hair isn't a clone, it was actually Lex's son, which was ACTUALLY actually Lex himself (or rather, he had his brain transferred). He too was somewhat heroic after Superman died in 1992, but went back to evil (and baldness) after Supes came back. I still like the radioactive superman theory best.

Dan is a derivative of lex!!! but not fair with the hair almost all lexes in media are bald even the Louis and clark live action became bald at the end. (oh no Dan is doomed to become bald) BGH adv, was great surprised that Dan didnt want to tag along with the crossover team and they didnt kick him out of their team(we dont need you). useless trivia from left to right -lex from superman/doomsday movie -??? -public enemies power suit lex -lex 90´s cloned body limited edition -lex from crisis of 2 earths movie
