Amphieb:
… stand up and be furious, shout at me:
“You have no understanding of it, you heartless amphibian! You don't even know what feelings are!”
She would cover her face with her hands and run from this hall, and I would be standing there with my legs apart, seen from worm's eye-view, stretching with my right hand for her and yelling Wait! with dazed mien, …
… just to go to my knees then and grasping for my face bewildered.
But luckily we're in no comic.
I mean, who would be SO insensitive to be like that in such a situation.
Petra:
Why did he do it? Why did he kill him?
Amphieb:
Cause he's a sadist. Come on, let's look for a good undertaker's.
Petra:
You… he… killed… and you… undertaker's?!
Amphieb:
I watch my tongue. And call for the colleagues.
It almost slid out of my mouth:
“I'm sorry. That's not how I meant it.”
Hereon she crying-shouting:
“Then how did you mean it? Well? Are you happy that he's out of the way? That you can have me for yourself alone?”
After that, I could've MERELY answered wrong.
Petra:
No. Thank you. At least someone who can think straight.
Amphieb:
Dspite all the years… for him, it was just a game.
I think Amphieb read a little too many comics if he's comparing every situation to how it would have to be handled in comics…
