I thought you'd all like to get a little background on this world. Try to remember this little girl, you may be seeing her again far far into the future.
Oh yes! And thanks to Kam for the idea behind the “Posiden project”.
Responces: (So many questions flying at me that I just gotta start answering them.
Confused Soul: Yep! Beeper gets to be a kitty popcicle too. I was going to draw him in the cryotube with Penny, but I was running short on time. (Fun fact boys-n-girls, Beeper was the name of my very first cat when I was a child. I think I was about 4. Damn! I must have been that cat's WORST nightmare!)
Fesworks: You are half right! The nano-virus killed off the human race on earth. Something else is responsible for the animal's mutation... or should I say, evolution.
Chay Chan: There are four Ark stations in orbit around the earth.
Ark 1 and Ark 2 hold 800 Scientists, engineers, astronomers, technicians, doctors, teachers, laborers, and children each.
Ark 3 and Ark 4 hold 950 soldiers, commanding officers, refugees, stowaways, and some government officials each.
So the total of all four stations is 3500. Some of the women on these station are pregnant so the number will go up slightly later in the story. (A very good question Chay Chan!)
Forewarned: No the nano-virus was intentionally designed to kill humans only. It was germ warfare that got loose accidentally. BTW, such viruses exsist today! 100% fatal, 0% immunity. (Scary fact... Natural viruses can't have a 0% immunity factor. It takes the intervention of humans to engineer a virus that has a 0% immunity factor.) Lets here it for genetic tampering!!
Elemental: They look simular because I suck at drawing animals. (Hides face in shame.)
Confused Soul: It does affect them, but it reacts differently that what it was intended to do to humans. Think of e-coli for example. As long as it stays inside your intestines, it's benificial to you. If it gets into your blood stream... it can be fatal.
Taltamir: Ah! Thanks for the correction. I don't bother looking up a word in my dictionary if I think I have it spelled right. Again, thanks! :)
Fesworks: Ok... What's so funny?
Kali: Yes you are right! All that remains of the hyoomans is all the wonderful toys they left behind.
Mutation: It's doubtful that Toshubi or even Jessica would live long enough to where it's safe for the hyoomans to return to earth. Unless something happened... Like I said, try to remember little Penny. (Even the littlest child can make a world of difference.)
Kam: Yeah... but it was that discussion that brought a new perspective to the face of the earth.
So does the nano virus not affect the furries? Or did it create them? *muse*
Maybe it's one of those things where humanity assumes something is terribly toxic and dangerous without investigating it properly. Like tomatoes.
Toshubi will see them when he's a grampa?
Or maybe Jessica will see them when she's a grown up cow McNinja.
Or finally, they could just find it and walk around and see all these people frozeny. I know a certain cow that would have a cow.
How would they get up there?
Magic?
This Wheels fellow?

Does the cat get cryogenically frozen as well?
fesworks at 12:02AM, July 9, 2008
I'm guessing the Nanos killed off humans, and transformed the animals... But too much to guess right now.
chaychan at 6:35PM, July 8, 2008
I wonder how many people in total are up there?
sakura5 at 2:40AM, July 8, 2008
Thats an unusual plot twist...
Forewarned at 11:23PM, July 7, 2008
What if the virus didn't kill them, what if it transformed them.
Elemental at 9:56PM, July 6, 2008
The humans look look kind of like the furries. kind of, it's because of their noses.

Aw, shucks... I just pointed out that Poseidon was also known as Earthholder Earthshaker because he was believed responsible for earthquakes.

Nice explanation why the planet doesn't look like our Earth anymore.

Very cool. I like this concept a lot.
