Ask Lucy

About the strip: Vlad deserved this, after he was bashed by Bessie here:http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Bram_and_Vlad/5463227/
The thing is, even I don't think that Vlad is as bad as Bessie paints him, but what could I do? She was doing the talk. You may want to know that Bessie doesn't hate Vlad that much, she hates the fact that he is her bethroted, but he is far from the romantic figure she wanted him to be. And Vlad doesn't hate her. He is rude to her, sure, but that's because he used Bessie to get the attention of his parents by being even more of a brat than he normally is. Hopefully, their relationship will evolve as time goes by.
Oh, and Lucy knows Bram a little too well. You, the audience, only knows his sweet side because the strips always show him around friends. Let's just say that those rules of conversation have a reason to exist:http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Bram_and_Vlad/5461562/
Besides,Lucy has endured his endless talk about subjects that are uninteresting to her, she has to cringe when looking at how he acts all weird around her classmates when she introduces them to her, she tried to convince him of things with no avail, and so on.
Before you ask, yes, Bram and Vlad will eventually talk to each other in a strip. I don't know why, but it always takes a while to happen when a new season starts.

Yes, Bram and Lucy were raised almost together. To her, Bram is a brother like her other two brothers. He would probably see her in this light, too, if it wasn't by the fact she is one of the few girls he talks to. XD

Methinks Lucy sees Bram as more of an annoying brother than anything else.
