@ Strixvanallen: His automatic/prescribed reactions are only able to be used against Vampires, yes. However, the main point of my arguement of him being scary is based on his intelligence. Also, combat wise, he knows ALOT about the human body. That gives him an advantage over some, so called, "martial artists". All he really needs to know to be a terror in unarmed combat is a few kicks, a few punches, how to guard and dodge, and everything else is pretty much perfecting timing. I'd be surprised if Bram couldn't beat the average western blackbelt, especially given what I've heard about some Martial Arts Schools (and the fact that Blackbelt's supposed to be a level of "knowing the basics" of the style), and the fact that I assume the Vampire Hunting would probably need Bram to be about as fit as some of them are.

@Darius, Bram's skills are only active against attacking vampires. Against other humans, he is just an average nerd. The other Hunter's don't fear Vlad because he's what they learn how to fight. They know what to expect from him if they end up fighting him. Bram, on the other hand, is tricky. He's smart enough not to fight like a Vampire, is skilled enough at fighting that he's intimidating without powers, is a half-vampire and so could easily gain Vampire Powers to fight beyond what they can handle, and STILL will likely destroy them from half-way around the planet in a manner that they don't understand, even while they lose everything they care about. Bram IS scary.
