Issue 4 Page 22

And that's another one in the can, folks! Yep, no last-minute twist or cliffhanger this time - the bad guys won, and that's that. Heh.
I'm going to take another break of a couple of weeks before I start issue 5, as usual, but I've got a bunch of stuff to post in between so you guys can get your Bulletproof fix - covers for issues 3 and 4, character profiles and the like. I'll also be posting a blog with the projected start date for issue 5 soon. At any rate, as announced up there in the caption, we're going to find out what Shockwire's been up to.
Recap: well, Shyft pretty much sums it up in panel 3 - the short version is, the Hellhounds raided a lab operated by JCORP, the same corporation that owns Omega Squad, and because they were using captive Omega humans as test subjects (which JCORP wanted to hide, of course), Shyft and the other OS members weren't given the information necessary to anticipate the attack until it was too late. If you want to know how it all came together… start at the beginning of issue 3! ;-)

@Starwolf - thanks! @Midge - it does, doesn't it? Heh. Always nice when people notice the points I'm making, means I'm doing something right. :D

the line b/w good and bad seems really gray!

@mattchee - thanks! @Jimeth - well, now, that's... an interesting idea *coughs, hides script notes under desk* @Trevor - thanks, man, and we've talked about this before, so I know I don't need to explain it to you... at the end of an issue, I always feel terribly burned out.

Yay! Another fantastic issue here! Can't wait for more, but totally understand the need to take a break. Looking forward to the bonus material.

She should start another group of superpowers outside the law! Ohhh yeahhh.

@Doctor Shadow - thanks! @DAJB - maybe I should trade that for Morrison's disappointing Batman... *sigh* @Dark Ranger - indeed, indeed. Wait and see. Heh. @Cirdan - hahaha. Exactly. ;-)
Cirdan at 7:17AM, June 9, 2008
I would humbly suggest the reason she isn't in the police forces may not be unrelated to her slight imperfections in the field of what is known as discipline. I'll be leaving now, before she applies her foot to my backside in retaliation for my answering her rhetorical question.

Wow, I think the big question that everybody forgets to ask is 'Who's going to clean up this mess?' :) Bring on issue 5!

Speaking of cops, this little tirade by Shyft reminds me of Renee Montoya progressively losing her sense of purpose in Gotham Central (highly recommended series, by the way!) Oh and, yay ... Bad Guys - 1 Good Guys - 0 :D

Shyft as a cop, now that's something I'd have liked to have seen. Great use of contrasting light/shadows there man.
