Dental Woes

This comic is inspired by my own dental problems. Im missing a tooth so my dental plan includes braces, retainers, and surgeries. I had my wisdom teeth removed this summer, so thats one surgery down, one to go. Its not fun but they tell me Im going to have perfect movie star teeth when Im done! In only five years! Thats the plan, anyway.
I wanted Chapel to be reading a book that had something to do with braces so I chose Smile by Raina Telgemeier. Its a memoir-coming-of-age story about the authors dental misadventures during her preteen and teenage years. Check it out!
Ive started a tumblr! If youre not familiar with it, tumblr is a blog platform that focuses on more casual, user-friendly blogging.
