He doesn't have the features or oddities of a dhampir, I'm going with he simply has a way of sensing and nulling/absorbing magic which was aquired by other means, probably born with it. I would like to see the elites, or possibly Mye/Hex fix his eye and cheek cut, he deserves a break, but that would make for a poor storyline, heh, so I'll leave it to the master storyteller.

@Slowdown, neither Zerlocke nor Vic had particularly good parent relationships. Zerlocke's dad was basically a drunk who happily let his son do all the hard work on the family farm, and Vic's mom threw him out as a suspected drug dealer as he had a lot of cash (bounties for demons slain), always seemed to be out all night and had a gun in his room...
