Generally when a character makes a pop-culture reference, you can get an idea of where they live in Kellwood. You might not hear mention of 80's John Hughes films in the Demon Market (unless it's one of the many movies adapted into a stageplay by Skzzldrix theatre troupes, but those go wildly off script) but if you're a well-to-do Elf, Fairy, or just any Dragon at all, you're pretty familiar with human pop culture and can make obnoxious references to things to the confusion of the Pookas, Onekamari, Vaeltwii,Orycalopes, Trolls and Grimalkins who don't get your strange inside jokes. In Samrick's court, he holds movie nights with his vast collection of films. Samrick inferred earlier to Sadick that it's rather a luxury to experience human media in a pure form, one that few other denizens of non-human Kellwood have. He recognizes Sadick's attempt to be a movie vigilante. And Han wants to be in a teen coming of age film and have an emotional group therapy session, it seems! Or at least, dance on the table together with her friends…
