You know, Kate is one of the great success stories in the world of side characters. She was originally just going to be a nameless extra for the Halloween party, but she wound up being fun to draw (always a random process with extras, who I tend to just make up on the spot without any designing beforehand), so I put her in as a work colleague of Sleepy's, which in turn led to her hanging out with Robin, and now look at her! She's got a name and co-owns a small business! Not bad for someone who started life as ‘I need random people for this party, let’s make one a girl with devil horns who's a bit tipsy'.
