OzoneOcean: Modesty's tutorial is pretty good because she pinpoints the distinguished shape of animals under the same family that most artists don't normally take notice of. I've never drawn big cats before so I don't really notice of the shape of these animals much. ^^;

Actually the leopard is much like most big cats in size and shape, the cheetah is the only one that is really, really different; deep chests, skinny haunches, long body, small head, and long limbs.
In fact, all differ slightly... The tigers and lions mass a lot more than all the rest and just [i]look[/i] physically more muscular and gigantic. The jaguar is superfically similar in patterning to the leopard but they too are more muscular and thick set.

Ack, I meant that the leopard is much like most big cats proportionally... It is of course well known for being the smallest of them. -_-
