Sharp-eyed readers have already noticed it, but yes, the crew have taken a sharp turn and ended up in the mechanical world of Girl Genius! :D
However, we were unable to get in contact with the Professors Foglio and have them officially sanction this visit, so consider the whole session a homage to a great webcomic :-)
