What must Energize be thinking to himself in that first panel? A few hours ago he was a hunted man and hugging Dasien… and now he's not only in a different reality with a whole bunch of strangers who don't treat him like a criminal but he's jetting around the planet on an emergency mission.

Speaking of Dasien, Ranger Bill manages to unwittingly use the Double-M moniker with Mindmistress, a source of some annoyance for MM in her early relations with Dasien. So no wonder MM's unimpressed with him in that third panel. Wait, is “double-M” a bra size?? um, moving right along!

Hoodoo has been seen teleporting in the pages of Magellan on a few occasions - here and here. These are relatively short range ‘ports (about 1 mile max) and do not require line of sight with no danger of finding oneself merged with other objects at the other end.
