xmung here: Today's page features a number of significant firsts… the first time we get to see the mysterious “President” in the flesh and the first time we get to see his homeworld. Also we get to see that there might be something nastier than the Pres roaming out in the wilds. Stay tuned for developments on that front!
The other first is that this is my first attempt at a fully digital page. I'm rather happy with the end result but I did cheat significantly in some parts - chiefly with the pic of the President in the third panel which I digitally traced from an unpublished character shot drawn by the Red Death some many months ago. It was a great pic so thought I'd work it into the page - sorry, Red Death!
Next update is next Tuesday… Yuuki and Fusion are bored, and we only know that can mean one thing… TROUBLE!
Great work on your first all digital page! :)
For the next one, pay attention to your line edges. There is a noticeable amount of aliasing on this page.
there is no proof that he is that world death but as a third force appeared the plot thickens, also it seems that mr president uses a life support chair
not a bad first, definitely different than usual. other than a few perspective and layering issues it is pretty good. i wonder what the 'eater' is in the last panel. some think it is the god of death, but wouldn't it be crazy if instead it was the god of life? that somehow things got turned around in this world. of course if mr. president knows that he is being saved for last, he could be intentionally causing overpopulation in other universes, so that he can repopulate dead ones, via transplanting, which would save himself in the process.
hmmm, I'm guessing that the president is actually capturing all deaths to manage to escape his own death which will lead to the inevitable betrayal by his team mates when they find out this was all about him... but that's just me

Those things in front of him aren't wings but praying mantis-type claws. What better embodiment of death than a praying mantis-oid.

I think that's what killed Mindmistress at the beginning of this story.

Is it friend, or foe? I would go with eventual foe.

Hmm.. must be a very powerful Death since he is collecting the grim reapers to stop him perhaps?
God of War at 5:25AM, Jan. 17, 2012
I'm betting it's Death of his Universe. President is trying to run some big plot that will help him escape from it's clutches.

odd wing placement from my perspective though, although I could just be looking at it wrong

Well? That *would* be nastier wouldn't it?
hkmaly at 12:40AM, Jan. 17, 2012
Nastier? Isn't it simply local death?
