The reference is from The Empire Strikes Back, as the Falcon leaves Hoth while taking fire from Snowtroopers. Vader walks in just as it leaves, and Luke watches it take off from outside before getting into his XWing. The scale on the shuttle launch is indeed spectacular, and kudos for the quote :)
