This page is almost entirely the Red Death's—except for the art. It was the Red Death who designed the look of the Ruin-Death. He wrote the script for the last few pages. Unfortunately, demands on his time precluded his marvellous art on this page. But except for my inferior art, this page is the Red Death's. And if this makes you hungry for his art…never fear. His art is coming up VERY soon.

A different point from the 'per planet' one: what difference do "the souls of an entire planet" at that one time make when on any world teeming with mortal life, Death will have already taken a world's worth of their ancestors... every generation since the dawn of Life?

wait . . . doesn't a "death" do it for every planet or is it only one-per-planet? if there is one for every planet, wouldn't that be over what any single planet has to offer oooorrr . . . naahh, I'm dropping it
