Hey! A day late, but never a dollar short. This is Neil back with another page.
In today's exciting page of Crossoverkill, the President takes a nasty spill. He loses his headband and tries to reclaim it, only to have a metal foot literally standing in his way.
That's all for now. Come back next week as we wrap things up.
But as the story of Crossoverlord wraps up, things are starting to come alive over at Dasien Superhero Webcomic!
The original line was simply, "Your game is over, Mr. President." I pulled those apart and emphasized "Mister President" to kind of give the end of the page an ironic hook. The President of the United States is a powerful public servant. But here he is powerless and alone. Just as he became immortal, it's completely meaningless as he's writhing around in the dirt with no one to help him. He's going to be "president" for a looooong time.
the phrase mister president evokes an image of marilyn monroe seducing someone. generally i've always seen him addressed as sir, so mm saying mister president sorta got me thinking of mm seducing someone, does anyone else think mm would be uncharacteristically silent during such an act?
@Hedonist: He did something stupid in his rush of Ultimate Power? How...absolutely normal for supervillains that finish thier plan to aquire absolute power. If he would have stayed calm and reasoned, the Heroes would never have defeated him.
This final battle has shown great art work and all but I feel that The President was defeated too easily. Before this issue he had shown to have some common sense but then he makes the absolutely idiotic decision to betray his allies BEFORE killing all the heroes ensuring that all the imprisoned deaths are left unguarded.

Please note, that Ringo (the Crossoverseer, NOT the former Beatle) appeared both in the current and the previous page of Dasien. Great job, Neil!

Mr President looks like Gollum reaching for his precious ring
