I believe that the "Better luck next time" banner is actually on the other side of the banner that's hanging now. And the side facing Yuuki was very hastily written in magic marker.

What are the chances they also have a "better luck next time" banner in case Yuuki had faild? What are the chances they had that one up until Hel came and told them Yuuki did it? At lest such a homecomming let's you apreciate the time spend off-reality.
